Ewon not backing down, reiterates intention to take on Madius for Upko presidency

KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Ewon Benedick has reinforced his intent to challenge Upko president Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau, saying that no one individual can decide the direction of the party.

In his speech at a dinner with Labuan Upko on Tuesday (July 26), the Upko vice-president said the party would only progress if it respected the wishes of the majority when it came to making a decision on the party’s direction.
