Sulu claims issue: Special Parliament select committee to commence proceedings on Aug 11


KUALA LUMPUR: The Special Select Committee on International Affairs will commence proceedings on the Sulu Sultanate Claim on Federal Assets on Aug 11.

The committee’s chairman Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub (PH-Pulai) told reporters at Parliament on Tuesday (July 26) that Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah, Minister in Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and Attorney General Tan Sri Idrus Harun will be summoned.
