Race not determining factor in civil service recruitment, says Cuepacs president

PETALING JAYA: The lack of interest among non-bumiputras including the perception of low salaries is one of the factors why they do not join the public service, says Cuepacs president Datuk Adnan Mat.

He also said that recruitment and appointment of staff in the public service sector were done based on the merit and competence of candidates.
