KUALA LUMPUR: Police here have confirmed that five suspects linked to the alleged cheating of a large group of haj pilgrims have been arrested.
When contacted on Saturday (July 9) Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Ashari Abu Samah said that five arrests have been made.

He added that a full statement on the matter will be issued soon.
Meanwhile, Police secretary Deputy Comm Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin said 57 reports have been lodged so far.

Most of the reports have been lodged in Selangor, with 25 so far.
Losses have been estimated to be around RM2.3mil.
