Six vehicles damaged in JB used car centre fire


JOHOR BARU: Six vehicles were damaged after a used car centre at Jalan Kempas Lama here caught fire on Monday (July 4).

Kempas fire station chief Ridzuan Malik Rivan said they received an emergency call at 1.46pm regarding the incident.

“Six firemen from the Kempas fire station led by senior officer I, Mohd Yazid Abd Rahman were deployed to the scene,’’ he said in a statement.

Ridzuan said the cause of the incident and the losses suffered are still under investigation. The fire was put out at 2.27pm.
