Covid-19 Watch: 2,867 new cases bring total to 4,566,055


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,867 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (June 30), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's CovidNow portal, 2,863 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 4 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,566,055 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 2 deaths were recorded on Thursday with no brought in dead cases, bringing the total to 35,765.
