Cops looking for 20 people linked to Sri Petaling brawl


KUALA LUMPUR: The police are looking for 20 men who fought each other in front of a Sri Petaling shop in the early hours of Monday (June 27) morning.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the incident occurred at Jalan Radin Bagus in Sri Petaling at about 2.30am.

"We believe the 20 men are from two groups. They were armed with steel rods and beer bottles," he said in a statement on Wednesday (June 29).

A complainant lodged a police report on the incident as he had parked his car near the fight and it was badly damaged, he said.

"We are investigating under Section 427 of the Penal Code," he said.
