Lim looked happy receiving envelope with RM100,000, court told


KUALA LUMPUR: Former Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng “smiled” as he received an envelope filled with RM100,000 cash in 2013 in relation to the Penang undersea tunnel project, the Sessions Court heard.

Consortium Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd executive director Datuk Zarul Ahmad Mohd Zulkifli, in his court testimony yesterday, said that in 2014, Lim did not say anything but seemed “happy” when he was given another envelope containing RM100,000.
