Man found dead in middle of the road in Klang


KLANG: A man has been found dead, believed to be after an attack by a group of armed assailants, at Taman Eng Ann here.

His body was found in a pool of blood in the middle of the road at 9.47am on Monday (June 13).

North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao said there were several slash wounds on the victim's head, body and arms.

"We believe he was attacked by a group of men armed with machetes.

“We are still investigating the motive," he said when contacted.

ACP Vijaya urged those with information on the case to contact North Klang district police headquarters or the nearest police station.

He said the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
