PETALING JAYA: A total of 47 areas in the Petaling district will experience a scheduled water supply disruption on June 21 from 9am.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the disruption is due to works to improve the water supply system at Kolam Air Bukit Dengkil.
“The water supply disruption is expected to be fully recovered on June 22 at 9am," said Air Selangor.
It added that the work has been approved by the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) to upgrade the water supply system for the convenience of consumers in the future.
"The water supply is expected to be channelled to consumers in stages on June 21, starting at 9pm after the upgrading and maintenance work is completed and the distribution system is stabilised," said Air Selangor in a Facebook post on Friday (June 10).
It added that affected customers should keep an adequate water supply and use water prudently during the disruption period.
