Ampang lady wins RM1,000 daily for 20 years

KUALA LUMPUR: A lucky lady from Ampang, Selangor, looked at her phone in disbelief as she was greeted by the winning notification after checking her ticket using the ticket scan feature in the MyMagnum app.

The Magnum Life grand prize winner has won RM1,000 every day for 20 years with her lucky numbers 08, 10, 16, 18, 28, 32, 33, 35, drawn on June 5, 2022.

“I thought I was dreaming on the night that I saw the draw result notification from MyMagnum 4D app. I stared at the winning amount and still could not believe it.

“My hands were shaking as I was holding my mobile phone then, and I refused to believe the results.

“Finally, I decided to contact Magnum Careline for confirmation and verify the draw results.

Only then, did I realise, I had become a multi-millionaire,” she said, adding that the winning ticket was bought by her father on her birthday.

She is the seventh Magnum Life grand prize winner since it was launched in April 2018.

Prior to the big win, she frequently bought Magnum Life via Lucky Pick tickets with 10 bet lines at RM10. Lucky Pick tickets are displayed at the sales counter where customers can choose to add on to their purchases.

When asked how she will be spending her prize money, the winner said that she will share it with her family members, especially her father, and set aside some for future use.

It was a double blessing for herself too as the prize money was collected on her daughter’s birthday.

A Magnum representative said, “We could not be happier for our customers.

“There were a few lucky streaks in May, as our Magnum Life second prizes were won on May 15 and 21 in Kuching and Puchong respectively (winning RM1,000 every day for 20 years),

"We in Magnum would like to send our congratulations to the winners and hope it makes a positive difference to their lives,” the representative added.
