KAJANG: A Wushu coach is expected to be charged with sexually harassing a 13-year-old trainee.
Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said the 31-year-old suspect will be brought to the Putrajaya Sessions Court Thursday (May 26) morning.

"He is expected to face 10 charges under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act and one charge under Section 16(1) of the same act," he said.

Previously, ACP Mohd Zaid said the man is a Malaysian and was arrested in Taman Kajang Mewah on May 11 after the father of a victim lodged a report.
Investigations revealed that the incident occurred between Feb 11 and 19, around 3pm to 4pm till midnight or 1am, while the girl was at the coach's home.
The victim was approached by the suspect and assaulted with the excuse that she had failed to obey his orders.
He also threatened the victim (and told her) not to inform her parents about the matter.
It was also reported that two more girls alleged that they were molested by the wushu instructor.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Habibi Majinji, when met at an evidence disposal event at the Alam Damai police station here, said the victims were 12 and 13 years old.
