A few days ago, he had given an indication of his move during a function in Kota Kinabalu, saying that he had filled up the membership form and it was up to Sabah BN chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin to comment.

Yusof, who confirmed his membership during a gathering in Sipitang on Sunday, said the decision was based on bringing development for the people in his constituency. Bung was also present at the event.
