KUALA LUMPUR: The risk of monkeypox spreading to Malaysia is low unless there is a history of contact with infected animals or direct contact with patients, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
In a statement on Saturday (May 21), he said that the possibility of human-to-human transmission of the infection was limited.
