Man dies after car crashes into concrete barrier at Taman Rimba toll plaza

GOMBAK: A 65-year-old man died after his car crashed into the concrete barrier at a toll plaza here.

Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Zainal Mohamed Mohamed said the incident occurred at 11.47am at the Taman Rimba toll plaza.

"The man lost control of his car and crashed into the divider at the fourth lane of the toll booth.

"A Fire and Rescue Department team managed to extricate the victim from the vehicle but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem will be conducted at the Selayang Hospital," he said in a statement on Thursday (May 19).
