Covid-19: Paxlovid to be available at private hospitals, clinics, teaching hospitals, says KJ


PUTRAJAYA: The antiviral drug Paxlovid to treat Covid-19, which was previously used in health clinics and government hospitals, will be available to be used in private hospitals and clinics as well as teaching hospitals, says Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin (pic).

"We have agreed to distribute (Paxlovid antiviral drug) to private hospitals, private clinics and training hospitals so that its use can be expanded," he told reporters at the Health Ministry's Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2022 celebration here on Tuesday (May 17).
