MCA president attends Umno open house

PETALING JAYA: After two years of restrictions, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong took the opportunity to meet and mingle with friends at the Umno Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration here on Sunday (May 15).

"The atmosphere was very lively because the celebration can only be held after two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"I also took this opportunity to meet and socialise with friends who did not have time to meet for Hari Raya Aidilfitri together for the past two years," said Dr Wee on his Facebook page.

Over 4,000 people attended the event.

Among the attendees were Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, PBRS deputy president Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, ambassadors, diplomats and other Umno representatives.
