Roping in Mantanani folk to protect coral reefs

KOTA KINABALU: Local Bajau-Ubian villagers of Pulau Mantanani will be roped in to become dive masters for the island where coral reefs are threatened by fish-bombing activities.

Diving promotion group Travel Box Sabah is tying in with resort operator Sutera@Mantanani to promote the Mantanani diving site as a local attraction as well as help young villagers become dive masters.
