Two held over Pasir Mas pawnshop robbery


TUMPAT: A man and a woman, both locals in their 30s, have been arrested by police in connection with Thursday's (May 5) pawnshop robbery in Pasir Mas that saw RM1mil in cash and jewellery stolen.

Acting Kelantan police chief Datuk Muhammad Zaki Harun said the two suspects were arrested on Friday (May 6) and have now been remanded until this Thursday (May 12).

Witnesses or those with information on the robbery should contact the police to facilitate investigations, he told reporters after the handing over of duties ceremony by acting Tumpat district police chief chief Supt Tan Seng Lee to new district police chief Acting ACP Amran Dolah here on Monday (May 9). – Bernama
