TMJ's motorcade lauded for giving way to ambulance


JOHOR BARU: Social media users are lauding the action of a convoy escorting Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim for giving way to an ambulance here.

In a video of the incident, a policeman on a motorcycle escorting Tunku Ismail's convoy is seen flanking the ambulance to ensure that no vehicles obstruct its path.

The 20-second video clip was posted on the Friends of PDRM Facebook page, which has received more than 81,000 views on Thursday (May 5).

Social media users praised Tunku Ismail, with some saying that the policeman – Kpl Mohamad Saifulliman – must have done what he did on the Crown Prince's orders.

Others commended Tunku Ismail for prioritising the lives of others in an emergency.

"This should be the way, lives should be given priority. This is a great example shown," read a comment.

The video clip was shared multiple times on Twitter, with some users tagging Tunku Ismail to thank him, and received a reply from the man himself.

Others also praised the action of the policeman and the escort team.
