Dr Wee visits Khaled Nordin for Raya in JB

PETALING JAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong paid a visit to Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin at his home in Johor Baru in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

In a Facebook post Wednesday (May 4), the Transport Minister said he had known Khaled for more than 30 years.

“In 1991, the then 31-year-old Khaled was elected as the Johor Baru MP. I was also the Johor Baru MCA division secretary then,” he said.

Dr Wee added that they both shared many memories in politics and in community works.

“We will continue to work hard in ensuring the welfare of the Johor people,” he said.
