Lorry driver gets 15 years’ jail, eight strokes for attacking wife and family


KOTA TINGGI: A lorry driver was sentenced to 60 years’ jail, with eight strokes of the cane for causing grievous hurt on his family members, including his wife and mother-in-law, with a parang.

The accused Mohd Hadi Hashim, 38, pleaded guilty to all four charges that were read at the Kota Tinggi Sessions Court here on Tuesday (April 26).
