Covid-19: Sabah records 51 new cases on Tuesday (April 26)


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded 51 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (April 26), an increase of three new cases from the day before.

"Overall the situation remains stable with daily case volatility changes at a small and controlled level," said Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun in his daily briefing.

He said a total of 11 districts recorded an increase in daily cases, nine districts recorded a decrease while 11 districts did not record any new infections in the past 24 hours.

Kota Kinabalu recorded 13 new cases and remained the only district to record the number of new infections in the double-digits, he said.

A total of 49 of the 51 new patients on Tuesday are under Category 1 and Category 2, there are no patients in Category 3 and one patient each in Category 4 and Category 5.
