Swipe right for scams: Syndicate uses dating app to find prospective targets

KUALA LUMPUR: Investigations into a crime syndicate in Ampang Jaya showed that scammers had been using popular dating application Tinder to find prospective targets.

Investigations led to a raid on April 21 at an apartment in Taman Nirvana, Ampang Jaya.
