Lorry driver crushed to death by concrete slabs after vehicle skids


IPOH: A lorry driver transporting concrete slabs was crushed to death after the vehicle skidded on the side of the North-South Expressway, and the blocks falling on him.

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the 33-year-old driver died when the accident occurred in the wee hours on Tuesday (April 12) on KM 220 of the expressway near Taiping, heading south.
