Jakim cannot issue statements on Muzakarah Committee decisions, says Selangor Ruler

KLANG: The Islamic Development Department (Jakim) cannot release any statements with regards to decisions made by the National Council of Islamic Religious Affairs’ (MKI) Muzakarah Committee.

This is because the decisions were under the jurisdiction of Muzakarah Committee chairman, MKI and the Conference of Rulers, said MKI chairman Selangor’s Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
