Illegal cigs worth over RM400,000 seized in Tawau


KOTA KINABALU: Over RM400,000 worth of cigarettes believed smuggled into Sabah from Indonesia have been seized during a crackdown in Tawau district.

The operation dubbed Ops Benteng Bersama conducted by the Malaysian Armed Forces Joint Task Force 2 (ATB 2) team in Tawau at around 9pm on Thursday (April 7) also saw the confiscation of two vans used to transport these items.
