1MDB money went into Najib's account, High Court heard

KUALA LUMPUR: A witness in the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) trial told the High Court that RM2.28bil from the company's coffers went into Datuk Seri Najib Razak's bank accounts, contrary to his earlier testimony that the former prime minister did not benefit from 1MDB's transactions.

Former 1MDB non-executive director Tan Sri Ismee Ismail had a change of heart after he was shown a flow chart by lead prosecutor Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram on several convoluted monetary transactions that went through a series of layering processes.
