KOTA TINGGI: A Vietnam-registered cargo ship has been detained for illegally anchoring in east Johor waters near here.
Johor Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) chief First Admiral Nurul Hizam Zakaria said the ship, loaded with palm oil waste, was spotted 23.11 nautical miles (about 42.8km) north-east of Tanjung Penawar at 3.30pm on Monday (April 4).
