20% top-up condition not a deterrent

KUALA LUMPUR: Despite having to replace an extra 20% reimbursement after making the special RM10,000 withdrawal, many people still swarmed the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) headquarters in Jalan Raja Laut, here, yesterday.

Many came as early as 7.30am to queue at the EPF building to apply for the special withdrawal and update new mobile numbers linked to i-accounts – before the fasting month begins tomorrow.
