KOTA KINABALU: A doctor in Tawau district says he was tricked into believing that he was an identity theft victim and lost RM747,000 as a result.
The doctor, in his 30s, received a call from someone claiming to be from the Health Ministry, informing him that his name had been used to get medication at a hospital.
