Sabah begins large-scale deportation of illegal immigrants as borders reopen

KOTA KINABALU: Deportation of undocumented immigrants from Sabah has begun on a large scale with the reopening of international borders.

A total of 237 Indonesians, who have been stuck at the Tawau Immigration Depot since 2020, were finally sent back to their home country on Thursday (March 31).
