Audit report: Pawah cattle breeding scheme failed to collect RM118,000 in govt revenue


KOTA BARU: The Pawah cattle breeding scheme managed by the Kelantan Veterinary Services Department (JPVNK) under the 10th Malaysia Plan (2011-2015) was not completed according to the agreement and as a result, an estimated revenue of RM118,000 could not be collected.

According to Auditor-General’s Report (LKAN) 2020 on the financial statement of the state government and state agencies as well as the compliance audit of Kelantan state departments/agencies for 2020 released today, JPVNK had spent a total of RM1.18mil on the procurement of 449 Kedah/Kelantan cattle which have been given to farmers according to districts.
