Women, Family Ministry to study community service sentence for individuals mocking PwD


KUALA LUMPUR: The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry (KPWKM) will study the proposal to impose a community service of between 100 and 150 days as punishment against individuals found mocking Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

Its deputy minister Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff said the ministry believed that the proposal should be implemented as community service programmes outlined three main elements, namely punishment, rehabilitation and repentance.
