Former Suhakam commissioner appointed as new rep of M'sia to AICHR

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Suhakam Commissioner, Prof Datuk Dr Aishah Bidin (pic) has been appointed as the new Representative of Malaysia to the Asean Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) for the term 2022-2024.

Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah in a statement here on Saturday (March 19) said she would succeed Eric Paulsen who served for a three-year term of 2019-2021.
