It's back to the hospitality business for Penang hotels formerly used as Covid-19 quarantine centres


GEORGE TOWN: Hotels in Penang will no longer be used as quarantine centres now that the hospitality industry is emerging from the shadow of the Covid-19 pandemic, says an exco member.

State tourism and creative economy chairman Yeoh Soon Hin said some hotels that were previously used as low-risk Covid-19 quarantine and treatment centres are now back to business as usual.
