Plantation worker drowns in Beluran river mishap


KOTA KINABALU: A plantation worker in Beluran on Tuesday (March 1) drowned after the vehicle he was driving across a flooded road was carried away by currents into the river.

Beluran Fire and Rescue team retrieved the remains of the male adult victim only known as Kahar inside the car, which was pulled out 35m away from where the mishap happened.
