KUALA LUMPUR: The Singapore High Commission in Kuala Lumpur thanked Wisma Putra for helping to evacuate its citizen from Kyiv, Ukraine.
"We are very grateful to Wisma Putra for assisting one of our Singaporeans to evacuate from Kyiv amid difficult circumstances. A friend in need is a friend indeed!” the Singapore High Commission here posted on its official Facebook page on Sunday (Feb 27).
Earlier, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah said on Twitter that nine Malaysians together with two dependents and a Singaporean who were evacuated from Kyiv, had arrived in Poland early today and were received by two Malaysian Embassy officials in the country.
Meanwhile, Wisma Putra tweeted that the convoy arrived at Korczowa-Krakovets border at 5.45am Malaysian time. – Bernama
