Parliament opens on Monday (Feb 28), Azalina's replacement to be elected


KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah is scheduled to officiate the opening of the First Meeting of the Fifth Session of the 14th Parliament on Monday (Feb 28), the second under the government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The meeting, which will last for 16 days until March 24, is set to focus on efforts to prepare the country to enter the endemic phase of Covid-19 as well as on political stability through the government's intention to table the Anti-Hopping Bill.
