QuickCheck: Is Delta still the dominant strain of Covid-19 in Malaysia?

A POST has been making its rounds on WhatsApp showing a chart published by the Health Ministry that clearly shows there have been 6,537 detected cases of the more dangerous Delta strain of Covid-19 compared to only 950 cases of Omicron, making it the dominant strain in Malaysia.
