Machang trader fleeced of RM140,000 in Macau Scam


KOTA BARU: A businessman from Machang lost RM140,679 to Macau Scam syndicate members posing as Telekom Malaysia (TM) staff and police officers.

Kelantan police chief Datuk Shafien Mamat said the man in his 20s, received a phone call from a person who claimed to be a TM staffer on Feb 11, claiming that his identity had been used to register a line used in cybercrime cases.
