Couples make beeline to register 22222 wedding date at Penang Chinese Town Hall

GEORGE TOWN: Couples were seen waiting as early as 9am on Tuesday (Feb 22) to register their marriage on a special palindrome date.

The palindrome date, when written out, is “22/2/22”, a sequence of numbers that reads the same forwards and backwards.
