Govt hatches plan to keep egg supply steady during coming Ramadan and Hari Raya season


KUALA TERENGGANU: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry and the Agriculture and Food Industries Ministry are ready with an intervention plan to ensure a sufficient supply of eggs throughout the country during the coming fasting month and Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Its Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Deputy Minister Datuk Rosol Wahid said this was due to his ministry’s anticipation that during the fasting month and Hari Raya Aidilfitri which will arrive soon, the consumption of eggs will be higher than usual.
