Datuk faces 20 years’ jail over mishandling of RM5mil in Mitra funds


IPOH: A company director with a datuk title has claimed trial to six charges of criminal breach of trust involving funds of about RM5.18mil from the Malaysian Indian Community Transformation Unit (Mitra).

Datuk L. Ragu Raman, 52, pleaded not guilty to the charges under Section 409 of the Penal Code before Sessions Court judge M. Bakri Abd Majid here yesterday.
