Teenager nabbed for allegedly raping 14-year-old girlfriend

AMPANG: A 15-year-old boy has been detained for allegedly raping his 14-year-old girlfriend.

Ampang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the suspect met the victim in Pandan Indah in December last year.

"It is believed that the suspect raped the victim on two occasions.

"On Feb 13, the victim's mother discovered that the victim was pregnant and had had sexual intercourse with the suspect," he said in a statement on Friday (Feb 18).

ACP Mohamad Farouk said the suspect was detained in Pandan Indah on Thursday (Feb 17).

"The suspect will be remanded until Sunday (Feb 20)," he said.
