Abide by KL High Court decision and undo unilateral conversion of the three kids, YBAM tells Perlis Religious Dept

PETALING JAYA: Abide by the Kuala Lumpur High Court ruling and cancel the unilateral conversion of Loh Siew Hong’s children to Islam, the Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM) urges the Perlis Islamic Religious Department.

YBAM also pointed out that the Federal Court ruling of 2018 on M. Indira Gandhi's case had clearly stated that unilateral conversion without the mother’s consent is invalid, and the mother who has custody has legal authority over the child's life decisions.
