RM1bil renewable energy complex set to take off in Kota Kinabalu

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor witnessing the MoU signing ceremony between Suria Capital and Vandelay Ventures Sdn Bhd together with its partners for the SMJREIC project in Kota Kinabalu Monday (Jan 14).

KOTA KINABALU: A RM1bil renewable energy complex is set to be built on a 10ha site at the Sepanggar Bay Container Port near here.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said the project - Sabah Maju Jaya Renewable Energy Industrial Complex (SMJREIC)- was a collaboration by state owned Suria Capital Holdings Berhad with Vandelay Ventures Sdn Bhd.
