Drink-driving: 14 nabbed in KL traffic op


KUALA LUMPUR: Fourteen motorists have been detained for driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic operation in the city.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Asst Comm Sarifudin Mohd Salleh said the drivers, all men aged between 25 and 54, were detained under Section 45(A) of the Road Transport Act 1987 during the operation conducted from Thursday (Feb 10) until Saturday (Feb 12).
