Kuala Langat cops seize 135 crypto-mining rigs over electricity theft suspicions


SHAH ALAM: Police seized 135 cryptocurrency mining rigs in raids on two shophouses in Banting on Thursday (Feb 10) over suspicions of electricity theft for Bitcoin mining activities.

Kuala Langat OCPD Supt Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor @ Saleh said the raids were conducted after receiving information from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) over suspected electricity theft at both premises based on meter readings.
