RM16mil forfeiture suit: AGC rejects representation by Abdul Azeez's family


KUALA LUMPUR: The Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) has rejected a representation submitted by family members of former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim against the government's application to forfeit their assets, involving cash and property worth RM16mil allegedly obtained though unlawful activities.

Deputy public prosecutor Nik Haslinie Hashim said a letter to inform on the rejection of the representation was sent to the lawyer representing the family last Feb 4.
